Sue Atkins MSc UKCP – Psychotherapy, Counselling, Couples and Family Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, EMDR, Clinical Supervision, Workshops and Retreats
Thank you for visiting my website. The world is an increasingly uncertain place and this can bring up all our feelings of fear and insecurity. If you are struggling with difficult feelings, fear, loss or problematic relationships in your personal life or at work, it can be life-changing to talk this through with a trained and experienced professional person who has no other role in your life.
These are just some questions that may be meaningful to you…..:
- Are you feeling anxious, angry or depressed?
- Have you wondered why life feels un-fulfilling, confusing or painful at times?
- Do you find yourself repeating familiar, unhelpful patterns?
- Or maybe you want growth and change in your life and would like to feel that life is happier and more meaningful and fulfilling?
I am a very experienced Psychotherapist offering psychotherapy and counselling, in the Bristol area, to individuals, couples and families. I welcome people from all walks of life, gender, race, sexuality or belief system.
I have also trained in more contemporary therapeutic models, such as Internal Family Systems therapy and EMDR.
As well as Couples therapy for problems in relationships, I also offer “relationship maintenance work” for couples who want to maintain good communication in their relationship.
I provide supervision to trainee and experienced Psychotherapists and Counsellors and to organisations.
My work also includes offering retreats (see my page on Self Lead Retreats) along with workshops on resilience, self care and building our internal resources and improving external relationships at work and in our personal lives.
On a personal level, my aim as a therapist is to facilitate a fuller and more meaningful life for the people I work with and all those I build relationships with; through finding meaning and connection, resources and resilience.
